Oh my son, my wonderful son.

Gavin's bad boy quote of the day came today as we were walking out of Target; He was ripping my fingers off of his hand as we walked through the parking lot, and shouting "No, Mommy I no hold your hand, Mommy!!" With one hand clinching his and the other directing the cart out to my car, we were darting cars in the parking lot and I kept telling Gavin not to let go; All I wanted to do was get him to the car safetly. Finally, we reach our car and I get the groceries unloaded and Gavin buckled into his seat. I turn to the backseat and tell him... "When Mommy tells you to hold her hand to walk across the street, you hold her hand!" He responds with "No Mommy! When I tell you I want cupcakes... You have me cupcakes!!" As I tried my hardest not to burst into laughter, I looked at him and said "Gavin, you listen to Mommy when she tells you to hold her hand!" And again he responded with "No Mommy! When I tell you I want cupcakes... You have me cupcakes!" Of course, my son would say that. Man, I cant imagine what life will be like when he is 15 if he's already demanding cupcakes!

Speaking of my little man, here are some wonderful pictures Granny Mam took before Gav's surgery a few weeks ago...

He is so precious! Looks like a little angel :)

I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow! :)

That means only 10 weeks to go!!!!!! Yay! So I went to the dr yesterday.... Gained 4 more pounds, its like there just piling on now! I've gained 23 so far so I guess thats still good. As long as I dont gain 30 more pounds in the next two months... I wont gain as much as I did with Gav. My belly is still measuring good and Kenna's heartbeat was 145 bpm. So I asked my dr about Kenna still being breech and she said Kenna's got 2-3 weeks to turn around by herself, otherwise we'll be scheduling a c section... yikes. I've never wanted a c section and I dont want one now either!!! I just hope she turns by herself but I really doubt she will because she seems so comfortable the way she is considering shes been in this position for the past like 12 weeks! Now that we're getting down to the wire, its time to start seeing the dr every 2 weeks! My next appointment with the peri is on April 20th to make sure Kenna's arms and legs are still growing. Other then that, everything seems good! Havent had any braxton hicks contractions lately! Tomorrow is the baby shower! I'm pretty excited about it, cant wait to see my family and friends! And Kenna's crib should be here sometime next week! Seems like everything is coming together! Not much longer til shes here =)

Oh, baby Kenna.

Well I'm 29w2d today. Went to the perinatologist this morning and he doesnt seem to be worried, so thats good. He completley ruled out cleft lip. He measured her and found out she is in the 25th percentile so that is normal but her humerus and femur bones are measuring 26w2d.... That scares me. That could be a small sign of Downs or Dwarfism. HOWEVER, he said the same thing my dr said... He thinks that this is not the case and that she is just a petite little girl because everything else looks good and healthy. There are no other signs of Downs or Dwafism. He said I could have an amnio done but he doesnt recommend it because there is more risk than benifit in my situation since I'm already 29 weeks along. I'm going back in 3 weeks for another sono with the perinatologist to make sure all her bones have grown 3 weeks and have not just grown 1 week or have stopped growing all together. So until I have something to worry about.... I'm going to try to stay calm and look at the bright side of things... She is healthy! She weighs 2 pounds, 7 ounces!

Profile Shot - looks like shes blowing bubbles!

Gav's favorite sono pic yet... He can tell its her foot and he's been showing it to everyone!

Gav did SO well!

Surgery is OVER! Yay! Everything went amazing and he was SO good! Surgery only took an hour and when he came out he didnt cry at all, not even once!! I could not believe how well he did. He woke up from surgery and said "owie, my mouth hurts." He got some tylenol and was fine... We left the hospital by 11am and as soon as we got home he ate a cheeseburger (thats my boy lol) and he was fine. He was playing outside and running around when we got home and never cried or whined once. He is such a little trooper! I think the toughest part for him is the fact that he cant have any chocolate for 6 weeks... Thats whats going to kill him lol He loves his chocolate! He did so good, I could not be any prouder of him! Thank you for all the prayers and best wishes!!

Waiting to get his happy juice.

Getting rolled back for surgery.
Poor Baby. Relaxing and watching cartoons after surgery.
He was such a little trooper! & He loved the elmo balloon Daddy got him!

On our way out... Gav got to ride in the wagon.

Sonogram - 27 Weeks, 3 Days

Kenna is now measuring 2 weeks behind schedule. Dr isnt sure why... she says maybe Kenna could just be a small girl or she could have a growth spurt later in the pregnancy. She doesnt seem to be too worried about it so I'm not going to stress over it either. Kenna is also in the breech position (feet first and head in my ribs) so she better turn around in the next month because Mommy does NOT want a c-section! She had her hands up by her face again, like always! As the dr put it... "shes still a girl!" So thats good news lol so we wont have any surprises during labor. And she also has a "full upper lip" still no seperation so I'm pretty sure she will be cleft lip free. I could definatley see that Orent chin this time... Just like Gav, Kenna is going to have the "ice pick chin" lol.

Gav was excited to see his "wittle sister" today! He kept telling the tech "that my wittle sister Kenna!" Haha it was completley adorable! I dont think he could be any more excited about it, which is good, but we'll see how he does when she gets here.

Other than that we're just getting ready for his surgery on Thursday. After we went for his pre-op appointment on Friday, I felt a little better about everything. I know they will take good care of him and I know he is a strong little boy, and he'll be just fine. I just hate seeing him in pain and I know its going to take a while to heal. We go in at 6am on Thursday, he goes into surgery at 7:30 and should be out of surgery around 10:30 or 11. Then we'll just make sure he is eating and drinking okay and they'll send us home sometime that afternoon or evening. This surgery isnt as severe as the last one so that puts my mind at ease a little bit. I know I just need to stay strong for him. Please keep us in your prayers!

This is a face shot, but the tech said Kenna was laying on the placenta so its kind of hard to make out the pic. You can definatley see that pointy chin!
Profile view - Shes got a petite little nose!

26 Weeks, 5 Days

So the glucose test wasnt as bad as I expected it to be. But that drink is awful... Worse than having my blood drawn!! (I hate needles) I have gained another 4 pounds so that puts me at 19 now! Gosh, I hope shes healthy and I'm not just getting fat! lol I have a sono next Tuesday to check her growth again and make sure shes back to normal and not measuring too small like last time. I love my new dr.... She says shes not letting me have another 8 pound baby (Gav was 8.7) because I'm too small for all that. So hopefully I'll get induced before my due date rolls around. Turns out I have been having Braxton Hicks contractions that I didnt even know about! I never had those with Gav so its wierd to find out I have been having them with Kenna... Maybe that just means she'll be here early!!

23 Weeks, 4 Days

Went to the dr a couple of days ago.... I GAINED 8 POUNDS IN A MONTH!! Can you believe that? I could hardly believe it! So that puts me at gaining 15 pounds thus far... Which is good considering I gained 50 with Gavin (He was a big boy!). Anyway, my belly is measuring perfectly... 23 centimeters. And her heartbeat that day was 144 bpm... slower than it has been but nothing to worry about. She kept kicking the nurse! The nurse goes "Wow, she moves a lot!" Yeah, tell me about it. I get kicked 24/7. But I wouldnt have it any other way! Little Miss Kenna is going to be fiesty... I can feel it.

Gavin is doing good! He cant wait for his little sister. Everytime he sees a baby now, he points it out and tells me. His surgery is March 19, it is an outpatient surgery so unlike last time, he will get to come home that day. Please just keep him in your prayers. I'm sure everything will go fine because we have a very good surgeon but I just hate these damn surgeries! Hopefully this will be the last one and he wont have to go through another one. Our little Gav is a trooper though and he will do perfect.

Granny Mam and I had a little photoshoot... Here are some of the pics... They turned out great! :)

Gav giving Kenna a hug... So sweet!
